THE FIRM

Mele Amantea Architects II, LLP is a full-service architecture and planning firm. Established in March 1980, the firm has served a variety of public and private clients. Projects have included master plans, economic analyses, architectural interiors, single user office buildings, warehousing, and light industrial complexes.

Our firm specializes in three areas of architectural practice. These are roof consulting, educational facilities, and industrial facilities. Roof consulting work has included visual roof inspections and reports, destructive testing of existing roofing, life cycle cost analysis of roofing alternatives, and roofing and reproofing design. Projects to date have ranged in size to 3,000,000 square feet and in cost to $20,000,000.00. We have conducted roof related projects involving institutional facilities, correctional facilities, industrial facilities, educational facilities, multi-family residential facilities, commercial facilities, and medical/dental facilities.

Our industrial work has included manufacturing facilities, vehicle maintenance facilities, warehousing, dispatching, loading docks, fueling facilities, welding facilities, and food processing, and chemical processing plants. Projects have ranged in size to 75 acres and in cost to $36,000,000.00.

Educational facilities have included both new construction and remodel projects. We have designed libraries, sporting facilities, classroom facilities, administrative facilities, science laboratories, computer rooms, technology upgrades, and adult training facilities. We have provided services for public school districts, private religious schools, private secular schools, and government training programs.

Our professional goal is to fulfill the needs of our client while achieving aesthetic appeal and technical accuracy. We recognize that no building can be Architecture if it does not meet the client’s goals, within the client’s timeframe, and within the client’s budget.
